The idea of a sculpture against the war and the violence on Earth comes into existence in Poschiavo. The Hearts of the Alps want to send a message of peace and love all over the world. The power of stone emerges with vehemence from the heart, which is polished and carved by hand.
The steel arm represents the barrel of a gun, which is bent down to the weight of love. The barrel succumbs inexorably to the power of this great feeling. It is the Peace who defeated the War. In this brief journey on Earth, where everyone is born and leaves empty-handed, the time to talk about Peace and Love has come.
